Practice Philosophy

Our treatment philosophy is to treat our patients with the most effective, proven, treatments available. In many cases, non surgical treatment modalities will be enough to heal the problem. In some cases we use physical therapy and custom orthotics to treat the foot problem. However, in the event that surgery is needed, Dr. Ariza has both the experience and training to perform the necessary surgical procedures. We feel it is imperative to keep our patients involved and educated regarding their foot condition and treatments. We welcome and encourage our patients to ask questions regarding their condition and treatment. Whatever your foot problem may be, we strive to get you healed, pain free, and back to your normal life as quickly as possible.

Ratemds Review

"I went to Dr. Ariza for a second opinion after seeing an orthopedic doctor for heel pain.
I was told previously that I had very little thickness left in the fat pad on my heel and that the pain was due to heel pad atrophy. I was told that I didn't have Plantar Fasciitas and that there was nothing that could be done other than increase external padding with inserts.
My experience with Dr. Ariza was entirely positive. His office staff was friendly and responsive. I waited in the outer waiting room about 10 minutes and then in the exam room for about 10-15 minutes; about what I consider normal for a busy physician's office.
Dr. Ariza was cordial and listened to what I had to say. I did not feel any condescension. What impressed me most was that, although I know he had a busy schedule, he took time to listen and discuss my condition with me. I did not feel like he was trying to rush off to another patient. This was refreshing. He was willing to answer my questions and support his diagnosis which differed from the diagnosis of the orthopedic physician that I had seen a few days earlier. I was told that I did have Plantar Fasciitas, that I had a somewhat reduced heel pad thickness and that that could be contributing to the pain caused by Plantar Fasciitas but that the pad was not abnormally thin. He suggested a number of stretching exercises and we discussed various other forms of treatment including a combination of heat and ice, electrical stimulation, anti-inflammatory drugs and ultrasound. Dr. Ariza was of the opinion that fat transplantation/injection was not a viable longterm treatment. He felt that the fat cells did not remain in place after placement but rather tended to migrate or atrophy.

I have no problem recommending Dr. Ariza to others for podiatry."

"I have suffered with pain in my feet for 30 years. It got to the point where I could not walk from a parking lot into a store without almost crying. I went to Dr. Ariza, he immediately knew what my problem was. I had 2 neuromas on each foot. Dr. Ariza removed the 4 neuromas and I can walk without any pain. I cannot express the joy and relieve I feel, to be able to walk again and not have to take off my shoes and walk on the cold floor in a store because of the pain. Dr. Ariza and his staff are great, very professional and kind. I would highly recommend anyone to go see Dr. Ariza and don’t wait as long as I did."

Pleasant, knowledgeable, patient, completely competent in my opinion. I've been a patient for 7-8 years. The level of care I've received has been top tier.

Went on a referral from my primary doctor. Dr. Ariza was so helpful, kind and gentle. His staff was great and helped me to figure out my insurance. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I went to Dr. Ariza from a recommendation of a friend. I have had terrible problems with my feet for years and my old orthotics were working properly anymore. Dr. Ariza was very nice to work with. He took great interest in my condition and situation and made sure the orthotics fit the way they should. I even went back 6 months later for a minor adjustment and he said there was no charge as that was part of the original price. I can highly recommend Dr. Ariza for people who need orthotics.

I have been a patient of Dr Ariza for several years. Dr Ariza has always been patient, professional and caring. He has done several different procedures for my feet over the years. At one point, i only wanted to crawl after work, but when i went to Dr Ariza, he fixed me up, and it was night and day. No more pain after work, and i can take walks and exercise now. I just saw Dr Ariza again today, and he took my pain from a different problem away (of course, i had to get a shot, and that hurt, but it was worth it to fix my foot.)

Very helpful staff. Very knowledgable doctor. Very easy to talk to.

Very nice doctor, down to earth, very knowledgeable. Would definitely see him again.
